I am a certified positive reinforcement dog trainer (VSA-CDT) with the industry renowned Victoria Stilwell Academy. VSA is a founding member of the UK Dog Behaviour & Training Charter.

I cover Camberwell and neighbouring areas of South East London for in-person training sessions

For those further afield I offer 1 hour Zoom consultations priced at £50

outdoor explorers

These sessions will help build confidence and connectedness on walks, giving you an understanding of your dog’s experience navigating the outside world, and how best to fulfill their needs. After an initial consultation, we’ll choose a suitable quiet area outdoors for sessions to take place, preferably early in the morning (weekends are ideal).

These sessions are aimed at dogs 8 months plus.

Sessions are tailored to your needs but examples of skills I teach are:

  • Recall

  • Loose leash walking

  • What healthy socialistion and play between dogs should look like

  • Understanding the body language and intention of your dog and of other dogs

  • Park etiquette

  • How to stay connected to your dog on walks

  • How to keep you and your dog safe in challenging circumstances

  • Key skills such as ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘wait’, ‘attention’

You will also receive follow up exercises to work through with your dog to consolidate what you’ve learned together. Included in the premium package is ongoing support via text and calls.

help! i’ve got a puppy

We cover all the essential skills such as sit, stay, down - as well as a deeper insight into your puppy’s developmental process and what they are trying to communicate. Together we develop a routine that helps you and your puppy get off on the right paw.

Examples of puppy life skills I teach:

  • How to puppy proof your house and optimum room layout for your puppy

  • Toilet training

  • Teething and puppy biting management

  • How to walk on a lead

  • Sit, stay, down, recall, leave it, attention, drop and how to settle

  • What your puppy is trying to tell you when you’ve exhausted all options

  • How to entertain your puppy and when to calm them instead

  • How to instill confidence in your puppy

4x 1 hour sessions in your home

bespoke training package - ADOLESCENT AND ADULT

Struggling with a specific issue with your adolescent or adult dog? I offer ad-hoc sessions which include a consultation beforehand to understand the needs of you and your dog, and begin to develop a plan of action. I provide ongoing help via text and calls if multiple sessions are booked. These sessions can cover a variety of issues, both indoors and outdoors. Examples include excessive barking, frustration and over-arousal, struggling to bond, reactivity towards other dogs or people, jumping up, and refusal to go on walks.

STANDARD PACKAGE: 2 hour consultation including written report and training plan - £165

PREMIUM PACKAGE 2 hour consultation, written report and training plan plus 1x 1.5 hour follow on session - £235
